Business Case With Forecast Model for Neuro Treatment

A small biopharmaceutical company had successfully completed proof-of-concept studies in the steps to develop therapeutics for the treatment of neurological conditions, including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Repeat Concussion (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy or CTE) and Stroke.

The company contracted Coolmeen Consulting for the development of a business case in support of their lead compound.  The business case and forecast model would be utilized in discussions with internal and external stakeholders about the future development and commercialization of their program.

The business case included a market opportunity assessment, landscape overview, patient journey, treatments, competition and a draft ideal product profile.  Deliverables included a PowerPoint presentation and a forecast model.   The components of the business case outlined the profile key product attributes and labeling features and positioning options needed for the value proposition.

The forecast model allowed the company to model revenues, major geographies, penetration rates and range of selling prices and top line gross margin.
